WinRAR is a great archive manager and archiver, it backsup your data and reduces the size of any file (very helpful for email attachments). RAR files can usually compress content by 8 percent to 15 percent more than ZIP files can.

Decompress RAR, ZIP and other files (CAB,TAR,ACE,JAR,ISO,7Z, etc.) or create new archives in RAR and ZIP file format. WinRAR has strong general and multimedia compression, the ability to process non-RAR archive formats, support for long filenames, programmable self-extracting archives (SFX) and repair of damaged archives. It even has Unicode support for international formatting files.

Its easy intuitive interface lets you mouse over icons to see their properties, also if you don't like the appearance, you can change this by choosing themes at the developer's site. The Folder

Tree Panel makes it simple when going through the directories to find files easily. Above all it supports files and archives up to 8,589 billion gigabytes in size.

When purchasing you aquire a life-time use of the WinRAR archiver. No upgrade fee to pay and when a new release is made, just download and install.
